The Little Boy in Me!

The little kid in me,
feels so very happy,
often thinking about childhood days
and how sweet life used to be!
that's my little boy!
he believes in fairy tales,
of dreams coming true!
That's the little boy in me!
His imagination so wide,
wider than deep deep blue sea.
That's the little boy inside me!
He will never forget how childhood used to be!
That's the little boy inside me!

Who are those? Them, the Writers...

Pray for them, those strange people,
Those that sit and write and type in blue,
Those that take the long, thoughtful and meaningful walks,
Those for whom, life is as it is.
BECAUSE THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD......AND A LOT EASIER TO WRITE WITH.

Haiku Poetry!

Rambling through poetry books, and guess what I found! A write-up about Haiku poetry. Immediately, I just churned up a few verses:
 WIND
Watch it gently trickling trees
playfully swaying the branches away,
The wind the invisible thief.

Free Verse!

Can you imagine, rain,
falling from the sky,
Cold and wet upon your face,
Just splashing,
Just imagine it, the rain.

Photography as a hobby

Just a few months ago the keen observer in me helped me initiate to take up photography as a hobby. Photography to me is playing with light and exposure. Of course, the professional art involves in-depth knowledge of subject composition, etc. I certainly love tinkering around with my camera.
A photograph helps in creative expression of one's thoughts and helps relive moments. Clicking inspirational and detailed photographs gives me immense happiness. Come on, click!

A closer look at nature!

All around us, we see it every day, but hardly find time to observe or notice it. We hear to its melody, we feel it everywhere, but how many times have we experienced it? Ever since the dawn of human age, we were gifted with it's divine presence. Sadly, we have not yet understood its beauty and worth, till our actions started questioning its existence.
What is it? Nature! The sunset and the sunrise, the song of the birds chirping, the rotten leaves, crisp sounds of the leaves, the gusty winds that sway away our mind with them..it's all the nature's true form.
Nature is everywhere, not just in parks, resorts and hill stations.
but in the midst of our busy, hectic and stressful lives, we do not have adequate time to enjoy Mother Nature. If we spend some time in this mind, we would find it relaxing, I bet.
So the next time you are bored, take a shortcut to fun and relaxation, by listening to the birds tweeting, the splashing of waves, pelting of rain, the insects moaning all day and night. Watch the breathtaking sunrise and sunset and the ever-inspiring patterns of the sky. It teaches us that light always wins over darkness!
The greener plants, the cheerful birds, the twinkling stars....it's all a different world!

POEM- True Friendship

heya! Here's a poem I just now composed. It's based on true friendship.

Friendship is like a flower.
Friendship is like a rose,
it just gets prettier with every day of its glorious blooming period!

True Friendship should be everlasting,
a brightness obscuring from moon, stars and sunlight!

An ode to my friends!

Life is so short that we need someone to share our thoughts and feelings. Definitely, a thought would arise in our mind asking who it could be whom we can trust so closely. Answer might be who someone closes to you, but who? Parents, brother, sister…..! Apparently, it hardly comes to anyone’s mind a “true friend”. You are no nearer to true friendship than if you choose them for commercial reason. Besides who are you that you should be setting a price upon your friendship? It is enough for any man that he has the divine power of making friends, and he must leave it to that power of making friends. In this essay I will try to give my points of view toward friendship.

Friends are essential in our life just as food is essential for living. Moreover, it is essential to determine their friendship as we analyze the contents of the food before we eat. Friends and their friendship play a great role in everyone’s life. It is a gift that we offer because we must; to give it as the reward of virtue would be to set a price upon it, and those who do that have no friendship to give. We would meet a lot of people in our life, from those we choose friends and among those, we make our best friend.
I realised this long ago, an now my hands are waiting fro more true friends! A tribute to all my friends!
PS: Love you all!

Why I love Indian Culture...

One of the most important things about Indian culture is that it is adaptable; has always been able to accept influences and still, I strongly feel, has not lost its glory and value.
All through India's history, foreigners have come to our land for different reasons-trade, ruling, learning, looting, and conquering. The new ways of lifestyle they brought with them were not cast away by the Indians. This, is a proud feeling.
Our culture can be induced towards a bicycle: it it stable because it keeps moving. This is one of the reasons why our ancient cultures is with us today, when we are trying our best to become a modern nation.
Another belief is our sacredness. We have a value system, I guess. But, is the modern India 'the temples of new age?'
     So long!

Dancing with the winds and the rain!

Another experience of my life, being soaked in the rain, and this time, while cycling!
This time round, I was off for taking a xerox of my hindi textbook. After the xerox, whew!
The dark clouds paved their way in and it was a rainy evening. The thunder of the clouds was eminent as rough rain shattered in through my spectacles' lenses. Struggling to go back home, I finally reached, and if you're thinking this was the end of my rainy experience, then sorry, you're wrong.
What's better than splashing around the wet, dirty puddles, and dancing with the gushy wind? Truly, the rain made my day. And I also discovered that I could do a bit of a dance!
Atishoo!! I've got a cold, actually. Okay, let's call the cold as a memorandum for my best rainy day ever!
